Happy New Year, everybody! How were your holidays? Mine was quite hectic, so it's only now that I got a chance to post.
I made a 2010 calendar for my parents as their Christmas gift this year. I found a calendar photo frame at Robinson's Department Store. They had 13 pages, enough for a cover page and the 12 months, and could fit a 4R size photo (4x6 inches). I made my own template and encoded the dates one by one because I wanted the numbers big enough to be clear for them. While I was at it, I made red dates out of all the holidays - including holidays moved by Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo AND local holidays like the fiesta and City Charter Day. I also included in every month a line or two from the song "Who am I" by Casting Crowns. I like the song a lot, and think the lyrics can also be applied to parents, right?
It took about a week to put it all together, and they were happy with the results.
