Heartfelt

LorieM Designs has an adorable new kit called "Heartfelt", and I loved it right away because it has two of my favorite colors - blue and purple. The funny thing is that neither of my layouts from the kit uses a blue background!

Spooky Fun Halloween!

The Spooky Fun Halloween kit rises again! This is one of Lorie's older kits that she brushed up and added new wordart.

Here is my layout with it. This is Mikki on her way to the Halloween Party.

I took some liberties with the wordart. The actual wordart was "2009" but since the picture was taken in 2006, I simply flipped the 9 upside down. ;-)

Kids

Two fabulously talented designers put their heads together to come up with this amazing kit! This is Have Fun Being a Child by Armina and Lorie. It's fun and playful and quite versatile.

Here is my layout - I used yet another picture from last year's prenup shot of Weng and Charles! This is with their nieces and nephew. Charles will be home next month in time for their first anniversary - and their new baby, Bea. :)

An Unexpected Gift from Divine Mercy

As part of my birthday celebration, Jan, Bang and I went to the Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental. After climbing all those stairs in the heat, Jan and I went off in search of water while Bang discussed some things with his workers. (Bang was commissioned to do the landscaping of the Our Lady of Guadalupe grotto below the shrine.) Imagine his surprise when Janice came down with a box of kittens AND their mother! The people in the office of Divine Mercy didn't know what to do with the cats and so Janice decided to adopt them then and there.

The Light Switch

Trying for a more journaling-focused layout this time. I use the Rai font here, which I use a lot for my journaling because it looks like a (neater) version of my handwriting. This is me and my dad.
