Baby Love

For the December Pickle Barrel, Lorie has come up with the Baby Love Collection that you could use for either little boy or little girl layouts:

I made two layouts with it:
This is my officemate's daughter Cambrie. She insisted on climbing onto my lap the whole time while I was visiting their house.

And this is my nephew Nathan, who is so peaceful when he's asleep but is like an Energizer bunny when he's awake.

If the Baby Love Collection is too much or if you only want either the boy or girl portions of the collection, you could also purchase them separately:

Catch-up Posts

The end of the year is always a busy time! I've been running left and right trying to meet deadlines, plan a Christmas party, take care of my mom in the hospital (she's out and okay now), do Christmas shopping and so many other things that I've barely had time to scrap, much less post! Now that it's Christmas vacation and I don't have to report for work until next year, I finally have time to post.

This first layout is from LorieM Designs' kit called "Celebrate Everyday Moments". It can also be purchased as a bundle, which comes with an alpha, add-on mini-kit and border/cluster pack. The photo is of my officemate's daughter Elba. I was really in the mood for scrapping as I was able to finish this layout within an hour. Normally it takes me 2-3 hours to scrap one layout since I can be very indecisive about where I want to place my elements.

Next are two layouts I made with Lorie's Holly Jolly Christmas kit:

I think the kit is really nice for scrapping holiday photos. Although traditional red and green is used, it also has colors like whites and browns to round it off, and a cute red-nosed reindeer that I couldn't resist putting on my layout.

Dare to Dream

I really enjoyed this year's Digital Scrapbooking Day because of all the freebies designers were offering! From Design House Digital, I got this wonderful collaboration kit called Daydream Believer:
And here is the first layout I made with it. I plan to make more once I have more time and mojo!

iDSD at Pickleberry Pop!

It's International Digital Scrapbooking Day!

Lorie has a treat for scrappers out there at her store in Pickleberry Pop:

All products are 40% OFF from November 1 to 5, 2012.

And here are my layouts using the kits above. First up is the Delightful Moments Mini Kit. For some reason, I couldn't stop thinking of food when I saw this layout. At first it reminded me of the colors of McDonald's, but since I couldn't find any recent pictures at McDonald's, I made do with a picture of lasagna:

Next up is a layout using Enjoy the Little Things. For this one I used a picture of my goddaughter Bea. She just came from a party which is why she's dressed up as a fairy. I think this layout is one of my personal favorites. :)

I hope you all enjoy the sales and freebies that come with iDSD. Happy scrapping!

Making Time

When a friend lives in another city, it is important to make time whenever they're in town. So when Shalum came home, we made sure to see her, even if it was only for lunch.
